A throwback photo - taken a month before I gave birth.... a time when I cared to use eyebrow gel and look at the mirror.Here I was clueless about the pain I had to go through, the long suffering, and the struggle of a first-time mom. I was starting to sleep less around this time because of my frequent visits in the comfort room and ‘twas hard to find the best position to sleep. Then the series of my tiny sufferings began... got infected with herpes zoster virus, got flu, urinary tract infection, muscle cramps, fever, and then my water broke....then the real pain happened. The pain of giving birth is incomparable. And I thought it ended there but wait there’s more. I was blessed to have normal delivery but that did not exempt me from having stitches underneath. It’s true that this is the time you realize na grabe pala ang pinagdaanan ng nanay mo just to give you life. Glad I survived. Glad my daughter is brave and strong.She had her own series of struggles in her first week. #birthstory #mommydiary
